Between this view
and this one
and the sounds of everyone home for a snow day, I feel more like snuggling up with a book and a cup of hot tea than working today.
What keeps you going on a day like this?
I had to go into work today but I wish I could cuddle up like your kitty. So cute!
ReplyDeleteHow about making that a good children's book instead of writing mine? I can always call it research, so I am working, right? I spent some time today with Pat Mora's "Dizzy in Your Eyes," a wonderful poetry collection. Meanwhile my two cats Pearl and Dora snuggled together and napped the day away. I think these cats may be trying to tell us something ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ghenet. The printer is just one of many places in my office where Mimi likes to sleep the day away.
ReplyDeleteJudy - I think you're right! The cats are trying to tell us something. Next snow day I will do nothing but "research" all day. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Toby! I can't remember another Groundhog Day that was also a Snow Day for us. All I can see out my window is snow falling. Meanwhile, Wiartone Willie can smell spring.
LOL looks like my yard!! What keeps me going during this weather? Far too much coffee!
ReplyDeleteAhh . . . looks like you got hammered with snow too! So what keeps me going on a cold and dreary day like that -- chocolate covered espresso beans.
